Intervallical is a straightforward countdown timer application that offers three distinct modes of operation: Simultaneous, Consecutive, and Intervallic. In Simultaneous mode, two user-defined timers commence simultaneously, with the device providing notifications when each reaches zero. Consecutive mode operates similarly but initiates the second timer only after the first completes, aligning with traditional timing sequences such as the Pomodoro technique—generally involving focused work sessions followed by short breaks. The third mode, Intervallic, introduces a more nuanced approach by allowing the user to specify an interval delay before the second timer begins. For example, if the first timer is set for four minutes and the second for six minutes with a one-minute interval, the second timer starts only when the first reaches three minutes remaining. This feature enables flexible scheduling of overlapping or staggered timers based on user-defined intervals.

The application’s design emphasizes ease of use, featuring intuitive controls and a user interface familiar to iOS users. Users can quickly add new timer cards containing their preferred configurations. Starting a countdown involves a simple tap in the center of the circular interface; pausing is achieved by another tap, and a double-tap resets the timers. These straightforward interactions facilitate an efficient timing experience without unnecessary complexity.
